In Ward No. 10 of Dobha Milik Panchayat of Rupauli, Purnia, a young man, angry over DJ playing a song, thrashed a 7-month-old child to death. The child’s mother had come to her maternal home to attend her sister’s wedding. It is being told that there was a dispute on Sunday night over the DJ playing Bhojpuri songs. Meanwhile, there was a clash with a youth of the village over singing a Bhojpuri song. As the dispute escalated, fighting broke out. Meanwhile, the young man snatched the child from the mother’s lap and threw it down. Local people admitted the child to the hospital, where he died during treatment on Tuesday.
